Tai Chi at the Library

TNT 2010 End of year party
The weekly Talk & Tea ladies gathered at the library with invited guests, speakers and public to celebrate their holiday closing. Carol Van Der Heever was hostess and M.C.
Library patron, concerned mother and educator, Carol Hugo elaborated on the value of reading in transforming people and lives.
Well-known community worker Marlon Walbrugh visited with his newborn twins to recite his favourite poem to a captive audience.
He also shared some wisdom with the gathered crowd.
Ms. Van Der Heever read excerpts from honorary guest, young author Kyle Khan's book "Ms Raboto".
She commented on how the spreading story of his youthful genius has inspired other young library users especially the volunteer group called Young Librarians to also pursue creative outlets.
The event was a beautifully-catered success thanks to contributions and efforts by interested community members.
Concerned library patron, Alex Basson spoke to the children about respecting their local and indigenous history.
